Arthritic Feet- Shoes | Arthritis Information
I have such trouble with my feet that very few shoes are comfortable. What shoes do you absolutely LOVE for your painful feet?
I have found the most comfortable tennis shoes are Asics Gel ones..mmm, LOVE them Also, for around the house, I love my crocs with the sheepskin insert.
How about you?Hi schell, I can only were sandals. My toes are so curled under if I put any other shoe on, I have to take them off witin an hour. Sure don't know what I'm going to do this winter.cobbie cuddlers sandals.
I have had a lot of trouble finding comfortable winter shoes..
I think what works best for me is to change my shoes throughout the day. It seems like most shoes bother me in one place or another!

I absolutely love the all-weather mocs from Land's End. They're cheap () so I don't have to worry much about trashing them. The lining is washable. I also have a few pair of MBTs, but those are not so cheap, so I tend to be more careful and avoid rain/mud/snow/etc when I wear them. For summer, I have a pair of Keen sandals that are absolutely wonderful. But most of all I go barefoot unless I absolutely have to wear shoes.
My toes are curled too and it's painful to wear shoes. I found SAS to be the best for me and don't buy anything else. I have the tie walking shoes and the loafers and a flat that I can wear for a dress shoe and they are all comfortable with lots of room in the toe box.

Wow! Jasmine, I am SO jealous! I can't walk barefoot to save my life now! Waling on a bare floor kills me! I wish!walking barefoot kills me too, so no way! I wear dansko, which is what the nurses wear. They make all kinds of styles that are really cute, but they are pricey at aroung 0. I also wear Born shoes, but family hates them and says they look like bowling shoes, but oh so comfy. I also have birks and crocs for wearing around the house.
My two favorite, completely comfy shoes are:
Saucony Trigon running shoes (believe me, I don't do any running in them)...they are heaven for my feet.
Bass open-toes leather slides with springy rubber soles; the edges of the leather are wrapped in neoprene...has great arch support and hugs my feet.
I love dansko shoes. I also wear new balance for running around or for a work out.
I keep a few pairs around so I don't wear the same ones every day.

Even when my feet are bothering me quite a bit, they feel better barefoot. And I definitely can't wear shoes with any kind of a heel - instant pain!

Summer- bare foot, crocs and my New Balance walking shoes
Winter- my favorite purple slippers from Mark's Work-Wear-House, Sherpa lined boots for those cold Northern Ontario winters THAT I AM NOT LOOKING FORWARD TOO!
I can't stand anything on my toes. Not even socks. When I'm home, I'm barefooted. When I'm out I have a cheap pair .00 flip-flops I wear. I don't know what I will do this winter. I can't even stand the blankets on my tootsies at night. OOOOCH!I love Merrell's! I have a pair of Merrell sandals that I live in in the summer and some of their slides that I wear the rest of the year. They are by far the most comfortable shoes I've tried on--and I've tried on a lot! They are a little expensive, but for me, they're well worth it!

Ahhhhh this is a really sore point with me! OK- I admit I was a shoe whore. The higher the stilleto the better! Now a kitten heel is all I can handle on a good day....from the sounds of it I should count my lucky stars but wearing high heels is one of things RA stole from me! I'm only 4' 10.5!!!!
