SCREAM!

Some days you must be very still.

Some days you must be very quiet.

Some days you must turn the radio up loud

to block it out.

Some days you avoid that room or space.

Some days they never stop.

Some days you just listen

and let the spirits be who they are.

You learn.

You listen.

You hear.

You believe.

You take a deep breath

and live another’s life

if only for that moment.

Some days you see things

you wish you hadn’t.

Then there are…

Some days…

You throw your head back and

SCREAM!

lostpoet , you will be back at doing your art work again as soon as you get the medications that you need. I was in so much pain at the begining of my Ra that I also thought the things I love to do were over but with the meds I am back ( on most days) but still have flares here and there. Think positive!! You will be back to what you love. XXOOThanks Miami. I surely do hope so. I love my art and poetry. I love to go camping and Geocaching. Last year I worked 10-12 hours a day as a chef. I did many functions. Created many beautiful displays and now I can't open a can! How can someone go from feeding 200-500 hundred people to this? Home bound and sad.
Love Ya!
It'll get better LP- you just have to get on the right meds. I remember feeling like you do and lamenting...my youngest son would say- "It's not permanent mom!" I didn't believe it- I thought I was never going to get better...BUT I DID! You can too! Thanks wantobe, I truely hope it will get better. I am glad you are beter! Much hugs to you!LP,

I enjoyed your photograph because it was done with thought and creativity. Most photographs are done with software downloaded to their computer and the only creativity is whether to use the right hand or left hand when they "point, copy, drag, and click".

[QUOTE=levlarry]LP, Good poem Today was my SCREAM day. LOL Seriously had a bad day.
Keep them poems coming. I really enjoy them and it's good for you to get them out.
You have a way with words and that picture really was the eerie but it fit with what you wrote.
Good job!

Once you are on the right meds, you will be able to do as much writing and artwork as you like. Hang in there sweetie. I love your poems.

Hugs,
Deb
Hi Lostpoet,

I felt the same way.  I honestly didn't think I could hike, or trailride my horse in the mountains.  We are still tweaking my meds, but I am able to do the things I love.  Sure there are a few days that I'm in pain, or fatigued, but at least it's not all the time like it was in my recent past.  Hang in there...once you get the right meds and the RA under control; it will get better...Hiking_gal
