Hello. I am a 40 year old femal who has been living with arthritis for the last 4 years and getting worse. I currently fight fatigue and hips hurt everyday. My new hurt are my hands, I did some light gardening and now both my hands feel bruised. I can't do anything now without hurting. I am going to go see a new rhuematologist next week. I have chronic bursistis in both my hips and my feet just stopped hurting after 5 months! Any suggestions for pain relief? It is so hard to work all day, I sit and work on a computer all day and I don't know how much longer I can do this.
Best to post on the RA board. That is were everyone mostly hangs out. I guess this post is a few days old at least. Welcome to the forum. Sounds like you probably have RA or some kind of auto immune disease. It should get straightened out in time. Check with your regular doctor for pain relief. Keep a diary of all your pains and anything else wierd. Take pictures if you get any swelling. And post your questions on the RA forum. Lots of great people there. Keep reading. There is a lot to learn when you have RA.
