I have off and one. I used to get cramps and my fingers would go flat against my palm of my hand and I would pull them back to the right position. It hurt like an SOB! I haven't had that in a while ((*knocks on wood))!
Are you on any anti-inflammatories? Or any other meds?
I hope it goes away and never comes back.

Do you have an rd? If not, go to prompt care and get some pain meds and anti-inflammatories to loosen up your hand. You need to get some meds in you fast!(((((((((((((((((lostpoet)))))))

Thats the only thing that is known to stop the progression...
heat or cold... for me, i'd be dipping my fingers and hands in water as hot as i could take it!

A while back several members suggested that while you are waiting to see your doctor that you try taking Aleve or Advil, which are NSAIDS. I was just wondering if you had given them a shot yet?You are having such a hard time. When is your appointment? Can you get on a cancellation list?
