Hey all...quick question. I am on sulfasalazine, plaquenil, (was discontinued mtx after bad liver results but that was only a couple weeks ago). I took Tylenol Cold this morning for a sore throat and being sick and I've been feeling really loopy and out of it, sort of dizzy, really tired. Does anyone know if there is a contradiction between these meds? I believe there isn't...but has anyone had a like experience? I just feel totally drugged up...like there is an intense combination of drugs in my body. It's icky :(

I'm on mtx, plaquenil and sulfasalazine as well and when I have a cold I always use Tylenol Cold pills. I've never had any bad reaction from it with my meds. But that's just me...maybe for you it does something different...I dunno. Just wanted to let u know that for me I've never had a problem.

Britteny, that's normal behaviour for me when I take any kind of cold or pain medication. If I take even one benedryl, I'm out of sorts for 2 days. Feel tired, disorganized, dizzy, more clumsier than usual etc. I never thought it was a reaction, just that I'm weaker on meds then some.
