Can't feel my toes! | Arthritis Information
Okay me whinning again. Sorry. My feet keep going to sleep, but my big toes hurt. Weird feeling. Same with my hands, kinda feels like electicty going up nd down my arms, legs feet. Last night couldn't sleep because my feet and hands were asleep. Now I have a burning pain in my feet and arms. Does anyone go through this and if so what do you do?

Sometimes I do. That's when I take a muscle relaxer and a vicodin. Works like a charm. When are you seeing your dr? You need treatment. If you are in that much pain go to the er or prompt care. They can give you something until you can see your doc. Plus, damage is being done and you need to stop it like NOW!CinDee, I see my PR. on Thursday. I have made alist of my conditions. I just hope he listenes to me this time. I feel like crap!Good luck! If he doesn't listen. Just calmly ask for a prescription for pain meds and find another one who will listen. I want my life back.when you are able to, you need to see a neurologist to test you for neuropathy. your symptoms sound exactly like mine befor I was put on gabapentin,then lyrica. Sorry, I couldn't post yesterday. You are going to your doctor this week right? I would mention this as it sure sounds like neuropathy and they do have meds to treat that. Good luck to you, hiking_gal
Thanks hiking_gal It is on my list. Can you take someone with you? I find that doctors in general seem to listen more when my husband is with me. If you have a friend that could go with you...have the friend hold the list and have them make sure that everything on the list is discussed. They can ensure that neither you nor the doctor get sidetracked. Have the list clearly visible and have your friend mark off each item with a pen(and jot down info as needed). The doctor will get the message that something serious is going on and will hopefully sit up and pay attention.

Those were the symptoms that sent me to a neurologist. He dx'ed neuropathy and low B12. B12 & Lyrica help dramaticallylostpoet I don't have those symptons but I'm glad you are seeing a doctor. I'm finally going to see one next Wednesday and I'm a bit scared. How's your appetite?My appetite is very poor. I have to make myself eat. That scares me as well because I weight 81lbs. I go see my Family Dr. tomorrow.Yeah I have to make myself eat also. Right now I need to eat so I can take this naproxen but I don't have an appetite. My knees hurt so bad I can hardly walk today. It is foggy and I wonder if that has anything to do with it. When I see a doctor next Wed. I'm going to ask is there something he can give me to make me eat. I don't understand why there is so much medicine to help people lose weight and none to help people gain weight.
