Hi..just have a question for you peeps.....i am running spyware on my puter..and it's picking up a lot of adware, and potential risks, and i'm wondering if it's from the advertising on this board..
and it just ran yesterday
or something else i am looking up...anyone notice this?
or is it just the way it ahs to be?..doing it's job?

Just going to the main "my yahoo" page generates a dozen or so tracking cookies, etc. Perfectly normal - most are low-risk. You can blow them away, but as soon as you start surfing again they'll pop back up. When I run spybot or something similar it picks up hundreds of things. You can lock your computer's security settings down to avoid the warnings, but then many websites won't work properly as they rely on those cookies.
