Within These Canyon Walls
there are untold stories.
Secrets kept through the ages,
now lye silent on the walls…
the ground…
in the rocks and sand.
All of life lives here.
In the air spiraling around us.
We just need to listen
and become as one
within these canyon walls.
Cinda That is a cool poem. How often I take hikes (or when I am able now) I sometimes think of the others that have been there before me , not the recent ones but the thousands of years ago.
