This is a very interesting artical in the UK news:

apparently there will be a jab that will cure arthritis in 5 years.
I believe the overall cost of the one injection would truely out weigh the cost of meds. during one's lifetime. I wish they'd hurry this along! It's certainly hopeful news for us RA sufferers, one thing it didn't make clear was in the line that said ''it's then injected back into the joint''. I wondered if it would have to be injected  into every affected joint, or, if injecting it back into one joint would be like an immunisation and cover the whole body.Do you guys honestly think they are going to approve something like this here in the US? I mean, think about it. Why would AMA want to cure this disease when they can rake in billions and billions on all the meds we pop and inject. I have a hard time believing that politics would not get in the way of something like this. Yeah, this would be a miracle for us, but I don't see it happening here. In the UK, where socialized medicine prevails, it is in their best interests to have something like this because it saves their government lots of money to halt this disease. That is not the way the system works here. It is a money making business. It is not going to happen. Sorry guys, you will probably be going to that horrible country called Canada for this treatment.Yes, Canada is terrible for our idea we should all work together to take care of each other. Where do we get these evil ideas?WOW I can't wait! It will too be available in America. The big boys will figure out how to make it pay... they always do.I don't know about this, but the BBC News is usually good.I live in the UK and can see our health authoority approving something like this, it would save them a fortune!LightworkerUK-

Who is John Two-Hanks?
I hate that they use the word "cure" -- My joints will never be the same as they were before the disease. Couldn't they just say "halt the progression of....?" Anyway, hope it pans out as a real treatment!
