Does anyone else have muscle fatigue?

I just don't understand it. I walked for my 30 minutes today but I didn't go as far as I usually do because my legs were so tired and hurt so much I was walking slower then normal.  They feel....tensed up or something?

This is ridiculous.  I have been walking for 5 months now- some kind of stamina should have built up. My muscles should not be out of shape any more.

I told my RD at my last visit about this and my fatigue and all he said was your BP has been so good maybe you should ask your GP about taking you off the BP meds, they can make you tired...

I asked him about a B12 shot instead of these supplements for my low B12 but he said they really aren't what they are cranked up to be. People see that red liquid in the syringe and feel all pumped up afterward but it really doesn't do much. He said he wishes he could give me sugar pills for my RA and they would make me better too but he can't. (?)
It was not a good visit which was very unusual-

Anyone have this problem or know what it might be?
Hey Wannabe,

Wouldn't that be a rason for great jubilation? The fact that you walked yourself off of your bp medicine? Hey, guess what? Because of you, I started walking thirty minutes in the evening and have now started walking thirty minutes in the morning. I feel so guilty when I skip one. Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for the push.

Lev! I'm so happy I've inspired you!

The evening walk I totally enjoy but for some reason, I don't seem to enjoy the morning walk but I feel so good after I have walked in the morning, like I have made some big accomplishment. When I first started walking, it was 4 laps around the park path and so I would count off the laps and then one day I looked at the clock in my car and realized I was about 6 minutes short of a half hour so now, i'm up to 6 laps. You did inspire me and I appreciate it. Oh, and I do get leg muscle fatigue, even if I don't walk. My glucose is high, 191, don't know where that came from but believe that the walking will help kick that number along with slowing my intake of 32-48 ounces of oceanspray cranberry juice each day, such high amounts of sugar, didn't realize it, thought I was drinking healthy.

Oh yikes - definitely get that sugar under control!!!

Wannabe - great job on the blood pressure!  I've known several people who were able to stop taking BP meds after getting things under control with moderate exercise and a few dietary changes.  They're not a life sentence - for many people, the BP meds can serve as "training wheels" until the diet/exercise benefits kick in.

I have been working out most of my life and find
that I also have muscle fatigue at times. I always
figured it was my body telling me to rest for a day
or two.
Great job on your blood pressure!!
You know it might just be your BP meds... leg fatigue is pretty common.
It would be great if you could reduce or even quit them entirely.

General fatigue is an RA thing. For me it is one of the worst, most crippling symptoms of disease, it impacts me more than joint pain and stiffness. It takes the 'fun' out of most everything, makes life a big 'chore'. I have it again today. Yuck!

Yikes Lev- that sugar is high! Like you said your continued walking and cutting out the "healthy" drinks will help. I better let you inspire me to do some extra walks!

So everyone- is the muscle fatigue part of RA?
I forgot- I'm not so sure what really is causing my BP to be so good. Pre RA I walked more and had better eating habits...but oh my as I'm writing I just realized- I had a martini every night too!
My BP was still good on meds- 120/80 or better but now it is 105/70 pulse 60!
I bet it's the fact that I cut out the martinis for the most part!
