Ot: Update on sisters heart attack. | Arthritis Information

I first of all want to thank al for the prayers. My sister Sharon is 60 years old. She has diabities (Hmmm spelling), lung disease, shingles and aparently heart disease. She went into surgery today to have a angoplasty and a stint put into her heart.

I haven't seen her in 24 years. It was a shock to me. When I went into the room she looked like my mother right before she died. I got scared and was looking at the paper outside the door to see if it was her and I heard her say...Cindy..is that you? I fell apart silently.
There she was all alone. No flowers no cards nothing! I took her a gourd I made. I remembered her favorite color is orange. I just happen to have one. So i put it in a bag and gave it to her. She loved it!
Bad thing is my other sister Gertie did not tell me of her heart attack untill this morning and she did not go in to see her. She told me to give her updates! My god..she lives 10 miles away from the hospital and I am 30 miles away. Got to love Gertie. And when she called my cell she was only talking about her asthma. Didn't even ask how Sharon was.
Me and hubby are going down to see Sharon tommorrow after he gets off work. I am so worried about her.
Please send more prayers for her as she is so alone.
Thanks Everyone!
From one Cindy to another! I hope your sister makes a speedy recovery, and I'm sure she appreciates you visiting her when you live a distance away. I'll keep you all in my healiong prayers if that's ok with you.

healing hugs,

I hate that this is the 1st time they have met, but he's always wanted to meet here and now that I've found her...this is the time. I am taking here a plaque I made with the poem Transitions. I hope she likes it.Wow! 24 years is such a long time. Maybe now you will see more
of each other. Sure hope that she is doing good. More prayers sent your way.
