I love this!!! I discovered it a week or so ago through a link on another site. I've watched it at least 6 times and it makes me cry every time.  It's amazing isn't it !!!!!!!wow, how emotional......I had a friend send me this and I've sent it out to everyone.  An incredible reunion....Lindy

Cinda...thank you SO much for that link. I had never seen it and after wiping gallons of tears ( sure felt like it!) I searched for more info on the video.
That 1/2 naked person who appears and heads off to placate the lioness is non other than George Adamson, the man who inspired the Born Free movie along with his wife Joy!!!
How wonderful is that! Such very special people and that film has always had a piece of my heart. I cant believe we havent seen this video before.
I will go find the long link and a written piece to add here so there will be edits.

LyndeeNZ2008-09-06 05:20:44My mum who is now 73 and doesnt remember too much about recent events remembers the story at the time of these two men owning this Lion and it being sighted in London on a few occasions. The video was amazing.Now I want a lion of my very own!! I had two Marble Artic Foxes for awhile about 4 years ago. I had to donate them to a   petting zoo up in Michigan, as they litterally ate my house. I loved them both so much. Their names were Chula (female) and KIwaku (male..my favorite). Well to make a long story short we went to the petting zoo to visit with them about a year later and to my surprise they remembered us. They started making baby crys so the owner let me in to play with them.
Animals do remember who loves them. Sniff Sniff
