College Football | Arthritis Information

I don't know if there are any college football fans here but the season has started and here are the top 10 teams so far:

1. Ohio State

2. U.S.C.

3. Georgia

4. Oklahoma

5. Florida

6. Wisconsin

7. Louisiana State

8. West Virginia

9. Texas

10. Auburn

I am! Go Badger's for me!!! (Wisconsin)I usually root for U.S.C. or Ohio State. When they play each other it is S.C.!!!!I am a huge VA Tech fan. I am headed to the game tomorrow.

GO HOKIES!!!WV fan here! Also Rutgers....but they aren't on the list this year.Oh dear...WV....and I thought you were such a nice person :)rocckyd- I was at a Rutgers vs Va Tech game a couple years ago- what is a hokie?It's Tech's mascot. If you look it up the definition is a castrated turkey...nice. However, story has it that a guy a long time a go made up the word to fit in a chant for the school...Hokie, hokie, hokie hi....Tech, tech, VPI.

Later they came up with using a turkey as the mascot.

We are the only team that has an entire stadium doing the Hokie Pokie at halftime.My name gives away my allegiance....

My son says the Mountaneers are a really nice bunch of guys and they hang out with the "regular" people at school. What cracks me up is when I see the team mates on the bench and Dingle and Berry are sitting next to one another LOL!

Good luck to the VA Tech guys. After what that school unfortunately went through, they certainly deserve it!!!!!

I can't believe ECU beat WVU too! That was Tech's opener and was supposed to be an "easy" game. ECU won-much to the surprise of everyone. Obviously they have a good team this year.

Very true rocckyd- congrats to VA Tech and maybe WVU just got off to the wrong start with ECU too! Did anyone see the Badger's? I was playing outside with my kids so I was listening to it on the radio, or tried to, I have two boya 4 and 2 who where screaming and playing football outside. I was listening to the game and the score was 14 - 0 Badger's down and the kids wanted to go for a bike ride. I got back and the game just ended with a score 51 - 14 Badger's!! Had fun with the boys but a little disappointed I missed that.Wow...talk about a comeback!!I HATE FOOTBALL!!!

I REALLY loath this time of the year.

I will be stuck watching a football game almost every Saturday, which started 2 saturdays ago!

Good luck with getting through football season if your husband is a fan and you are NOT. I think some gals get together to chat while husbands watch football.

Oh funny, I live about 15-20 minutes from Eau Claire.Joonie- the only thing I hate about football is my husbands big mouth! He whoops and hollers like a banshee when they are winning and curses when they are losing. Sometimes I nearly jump out of my chair from being startled!GO OSU!!!I LOVE the NFL!

Tech wil have what should have been their first challenge this weeked with Gerogia Tech. It will be interesting to see how it turns out....Rutgers had an awful lose on Thurs.. oh boy my teams this year....Ok I hate bringing up old posts but this one i HAD to!!!

So I'm in this pool on facebook and somehow im in first place among my friends...cracks me up LOL

How do you arrange the pool? Random?Yea pretty much...with the exception of any Michigan school losing, OSU winning and Penn State winning LOL College football season still going on. I am mainly interested in which teams will make the Bowl Games. The Rose Bowl here in Pasadena, CA is always a big one. It follows the Rose Parade which is always great.

We will see who plays.
