How many of us have Lyme Disease misdiagnosed as RA? How many of us have passed Lyme Disease onot our children?Good Questions and a good movieDarn I was really interested because I think my husband has Lyme but I couldn't get it. I even downloaded quicktime but it didn't startHere's a link to the website, where you can get information that's not presented in video format:

I have been tested for Lymes and my Rheumy is great as he repeated the test agin when I became his patient, all is negative but so many people out there arent that lucky.[QUOTE=pin cushion]A great film clip for awareness. So why in the world don't you think you have Lyme ? ESP with those symptoms. Surely not a Neg blood test I hope

Interesting.  Pin - where you ever treated for lyme?  If you had the rash you have lyme, not everyone tests positive for lyme.  I would see a doctor immediatly preferably a LLMD (Lyme Literate Doctor).  Unfortunatly alot of doctor's don't know anything about lyme disease.  I am not trying to scare you or anything but you really need to be treated.

Thanks for the effort Gimpy but I'm SOL again! Says network cannot find website LOL!

Wanttobe - I couldn't get it either, I just googled trailer for under our skin and it is on you tube.

The tick that bit me was from a cow and i developed a rash but there is a special name for a lymes rash and that wasnt it. I had tests in a hospital in South Africa . I had a skin test and bloods, and fluid removed from my spine, CT scans as well. I was also put on strong anti biotics. I had follow ups when i came to UK and my rheumy is sastisfied that it definetly isnt lymes. My Rhemy is very well read on the subject and has patients who thought they had RA that he has eventually diagnosed with Lymes. Thanks all though for the concern, I would advise anyone who had been bitten or who thinks they may have been bitten to seek medical treatment straight away

Lymenet.org      ASAP LostpoetSorry Pin Cushion, I thought you said you had had a bullseye rash.  Lostpoet I would go to the doctor, just what you want to hear right!!My husband had a physical today and I made him bring in his recent blood work to show the doctor- even tho he has appts. scheduled for follow up on his ear Thurs. and an infectious disease dr. next Thurs.
His Dr. says yes he definitely has Lyme and he changed his anitbiotic from the amoxicillian the ear dr. prescribed to that doxy stuff I've heard people talk about here.
He said the infectious disease doctor he is going to is the best Lyme Dr. in the area so I'm happy about that.
The scariest part of the whole thing are the Lyme Deniers. Not content to just not treat it themselves, they are actively trying to take away the licenses of those who do. My friend has Lymes and the doctor who treats her will soon have to stop. Why? Why would they do that? I wish I could actually see this whole movie but it hasn't screened here yet.
