I just started on the Enbrel yesterday. Today I noticed that I was really nauseated and my stomach was cramping really bad. I took my MTX last Saturday and sometimes that causes nausea, but usually it affects me no later than 2 days after the dose.
So, I checked the Enbrel insert and didn't see nausea or stomach cramping as a possible side effect.
Any of you on Enbrel experience any gastrointestinal symptoms?

I have never experienced any GI problems on Enbrel.
You may want to post on the Rheumatoid Arthritis thread as that's where most everyone goes.I have had the same symptoms with Enbrel. Usually a couple of days after the shot, my stomach starts to rumble then I get severe cramping, usually in the middle of the night. I called my Rheumy and was told to see my family Dr and that it was not a side effect. I know it is because of the Enbrel, has been happening for almost three months. (that is how long I have been taking it) Do they really know what this stuff is doing to us?????
