Everyone thinks I can just go to the Dr. and spend 0.00 per visit. But I can't as I had to quit work. I have no insurance or medical or Rx benifits now. That is why I'M ASKING YOU guys for help.

Yes I am a pain in the a**, but I would like to know if anyone has these blisters on the inside of their fingers. And if so, what are they?
Thanks!I wonder ......trying to help you out here.....if it's eczema???? Or an allergic reaction to something. If it's an allergic reaction try taking a couple of benedryl or allergy meds to see if it clears up or hydrocortizone creme to stop the itching. If it itches. Eczema usually does.
I have had blisters before on my hands and toes that was eczema and I had to keep them really moisturized and wore socks over them and cotton gloves and it cleared up in a couple of weeks.
ThaNks Cindee will try it.
Love ya!

I don't know anything about your blisters or what's causing them, but hope you find answers.   I know it's difficult w/o insurance and having to choose spending money on doctors or food or gas or.... have you checked with the county/state on medical assistance or any programs that they may have.     I can't remember your background - but thought that you were married - Does your husband have insurance at his employment and can you be added to his coverage during the next open enrollment.
Lost, Are there bumps also ? I get the nodules on my lower ( near the nail ) finger joints . They can get raw at times

Lost Poet no one here is a doctor and can not even conceive of diagnosing you.  The internet is not a substitue for medical treatment.  What in the hell do you expect us to do.  Even if someone definitively says you have "such and such" without a drs visit you aren't going to get treatment.

I know you have financial concerns but maybe if  you had spent more effort at drs in person you would still be working and not trying for disability.  Find the money or apply for medicaide or go to a free clinic but exert your efforts into getting treatment.

I understand you aren't feeling well and are also scared but do you know how frustrating it is for people to constant come online and ask for advice and then ignore everything that is said to them.  It makes you appear like you are an attention seeker not someone really interested in getting better

Everyone here wants to help, even me, but you have to make some decsions about what is really important in your life...and if your health isn't a true priority for you why should it be for us.  And frankly I thought the thread title was rather rude considering how much energy people have spent over the last several months trying to help you
buckeye2008-09-11 05:09:50I had a similar thing happen to me.  It lasted about 2 months.  The inside of my knee kept itching and after I scratched it a blister would form and then heal up.   I covered it with gauze and tape.  Then as soon as that one would heal the itching would start again and more blisters would form.  They finally all cleared up after I started wearing my p.j.'s inside out so the seams didn't irritate that spot on my knee.   I showed my dr. what had happened but it was all healed up.  He said it could be an allergy or more of the RA affects.  He told me to tell the Rhuemy that when I see him.

Are they on the tops of your hands too or any other places like face, arms,...?  DO they burst?  Does the sun have any affect on them?  Do you have other symptoms?

I don't know if my comment in the lyme thread that you needed to go to a doctor and be tested for lyme spurred on this thread or not but I am sorry I stand by what I said.  My life is more important to me than money, I think a lot of us here probably have money issues and trouble paying bills.   I don't live in Indiana so I don't know anyone on this but you really need to look into it.

please look this up

it is small hard blisters that ooze crust and HURT.. they itch at first.

I had this for years it IS an autoimmune condition. I had it between my fingers and along the joints of my hands to the point I couldnt wash my hair because the hair would rip the scabs off.

Most drs are not aware of it and automatically suggest you have  eczema or "dermatitis"

mine actually went away for MANY years after I somehow got a bad case of  blood poisening in my hands from a dirty barn.
When I started AP I got some sort of herx on my chest that involved blisters.  We never saw a doctor about it as it went away rather quickly and my hubby recognized it as something I had when pregnant so we just assumed 'herx' and let it run its course.

I am not a drama queen. I saw others post picturesof the hands ect. I thought this was what this board was for. I thought wrong! And futher more I was not annoyed my dear. Just wanted to know if anyone had these is all."Everyone thinks I can just go to the Dr. and spend 0.00 per visit. But I can't as I had to quit work. Sure sounded annoyed and demanding to me.  Please go back and re-read it, and see how it can come across as accusatory and demanding.
It seems the board has went to who is going to win the presidental race...Hmmm....didn't know this what this board is about.
It seems the board has went to who is going to win the presidental race...Hmmm....didn't know this what this board is about.
Thanks!lostpoet, I sure would not worry too much about the 0 visit

to the Dr, you sure can work on a payment plan with them.
What you do need to do is find out what is going on with your
body. And take your time in the office asking the Dr all the questions
you have. And don't leave until you have some answers.

Lost Poet-

you started this thread complaining about getting help 30 minutes after posting the picture.  And oh that was at midnight east coast time.  This thread was "wow I thought I could get help here"  Thats pretty frustrating considering how many people have taken the time and effort to respond to all of your posts about your physical problems.  Now you have a 3 pages of all sorts of potential ideas of what that blister could be and in reality you are no closer to a diagnosis of the problem.  Here's mine you are having some kind of allergic reaction to something you touched while geocashing or dealing with your tomatoes.

But you can call me hateful all you want but the fact remains you are not doing yourself any favors by dealing with your medical issues via internet.  And you are hurting your disability case by not having a solid medical record of all of your problems.

Get the help you need...thats all I want

Saw an article in the paper about "store based clinics."  Some box stores (guessin' Walmart and some pharmacy type stores) have in store medical offices.  Many people who are uninsured use them.  Some have docs, some nurse practitioners.  They can't treat everything of course, more so, minor things, and I think they try and keep the charges reasonable.  It's something you may want to check out.  Good luck.
Are there two threads like this?Yep.This was an interesting thread, I thought I was back on the committee of The Rock And Roll Club!!!!!!!!
