Anyone seen or heard from, Milly? How about WonderWoman?

I had a short list if members I know I have not seen in a while, but I did not write them down.

InnerGlow was on that list then she popped up! Nice to see you posting InnerGlow!

Anyone seen or heard from Babs? I just saw a post about her being MIA. I hope all is well with her.
Nevermind... I ventured onto the 2nd page and found a post from Babs, on the 9th.

Man... I need to read more than the first page on here LOL!

I have only been posting since January I think so I don't know how things go...do you get used to everything and not need support and go away? It seems like there are a lot of MIA members.

I do not know, WannaBe. I think WonderWoman still needed support. and Milly she lives in Florida and was having a bad time of it all, too.

I hope they both are ok and just doing better to not need our support as much.

Or they might have just moved on. Some do that too. Find another board and post there.

Yeah- sometimes I think they found a new board and left us flat without telling us where to go!

Where is that Boney? I still can't believe he up and left over such a small thing. no one wanted him to leave! He could really make you laugh and we all need that!
Does anyone know how Cordelia is doing? I'm so worried for her and everyday I hope to see a little blurb from her, but it's been weeks and I think things must be bad. Is anyone in contact with her? Oh, Owiemom, that's so sweet of you.

No, I haven't been around as I have been not spending as much time on my computer and much more time with Neve. We missed each other terribly during my month in hospital so we are really enjoying hanging out with each other.

Don't worry about me, actually things have been going well and I am intending to update you all when I have the time and energy.  Cordelia2008-09-11 15:47:48 [QUOTE=Cordelia] Oh, Owiemom, that's so sweet of you.

OMG I was wondering how you (and the other MIA's) are!!!!  Glad to hear you haven't fallen off the face of the earth down under! [QUOTE=joonie]I do not know, WannaBe. Nope, still 'hanging' onto the face of the earth, Jas!  Cordelia2008-09-11 15:56:45Glad to hear from you Cordelia and glad you are enjoying time with your daughter! Hope that means you are feeling better too!

Jasmine Rain You are TOO FUNNY! Go Millie!

So is it Springtime down there?  I always love spring - a sense of renewal, starting over, the promise of long, lazy summer days... even though I haven't had a long, lazy summer day for about 25 years! Yep, it's Springtime here. Although we don't really notice it as much as you guys in the northern hemisphere do. We just say, "Oh good, it's getter warmer." There is not nearly as big a difference as you go from season to season here.

And our long lazy summer days, Jas can be absolutely ruddy unbearable they are so hot, like anywhere from 30 degrees celsius to 45 degrees celsius, sorry not sure of the conversion to farenheight? Cordelia2008-09-11 16:09:3986F to 113F

I love the upper 80's/lower 90's (especially with a faint breeze and partly cloudy)... but I agree with you on the 100's!
Oh and Wanttobe...yeah, I am sort of feeling better but even more importantly, I think I have done huge learning curves in adjusting and adapting to my RA and what it brings to my life.

When you can adjust and adapt, I think you actually start to feel better physically and more in control in every other way. You suddenly realise you can stop fighting this darn disease and learn to work and flow with it. When you stop fighting it, you are immediately less stressed so you aren't adding that stress to your RA as well. We all know stress causes flares.

No, you may not want too but you can do it.

Most of us are still aiming to be superwoman! No wonder we are stressed and in pain. There are no superwomen who don't have a chronic illness, let alone ones who do. I think the images in our heads about perfectionism do us all a lot of damage and don't help our coping abilities at all. Thanks for the conversions, Jas, I knew you would know.  I knew there was someone else.... CORDY!!!

Been wondering how you been. Glad to hear you are doing a bit better.

Hey, Joonie, yes...it's CORDY.

Yep, I am doing better and will give you guys the full rundown when I have the energy to do so.
Thanks, Snow.

You have been a huge help to me in the past with stories about your incredible mother and how she coped with her RA and also your perspective on being a child with a chronically ill parent. I learnt a lot from that and have relaxed a lot with Neve. I have worked out more how to 'be there' for her emotionally regardless of my illness and have let her know that no matter how sick I am, I am always there anyway.

You probably have no idea, Snowowl, how much things you said have helped us. Thank you. Owls are pretty wise birds, aren't they?

I am so glad to hear you and Neve are together and having fun!  That is wonderful news Cordy!  I still think there's a book coming from you in the future on coping with a chronic illness.  You are an excellent writer and have a great deal of valuable insight to share.

Karen
My dear Cordy! It's so good to hear from you! You really do sound wonderful and more optomistic about life.

It sounds like you and Neve are having a great time. Your "being there" for her is the best thing for both of you. You do sound like you have accepted your challenges as a part of your life. I think maybe that would be a good thing, and maybe  would help us all be able to move on with our lives.

I hope things continue to improve as you and Neve share wonderful moments together.

Much love, Nini
Watchingwolf here. Have been busy, busy, busy! Life is good cuz I can do it all. Life will continue to be busy for quite sometime so I won't be posting much, if at all. Tonight though I am going to read, read and read so more. Haven't looked to see how many pages I need to go back.

Each of you are always in my prayers.  *Gentle Hugs*
Cordy, what a coincidence that I just asked about you! I was so worried, but you sound very upbeat and happy. Neve is one lucky little girl to have a mom to show her how to be strong and loving! I hope you two are enjoying your time together!!! write when you can...
deb
