I want to say that I am not a drama queen. I am not lazy. I am not drawing disability because I want to.

Words hurt more than you know when people are self- centered and don't understand what  another is going though.
Buckeye you hurt my feelings as well as who posted That I am a Drama queen.
Arn'et you all? I have seenpictures...pity party for most of you. Why am I differant from you?
If I can't ask a question..then why bother.
I think most on this board are drama queens, complainers, and just down right rude!
I have had many people here that has helped alot and they do care, as far as the rest of you..you can kiss my a**!
No one says you can't post a question.  But please don't get annoyed if you don't get an answer right away (especially overnight).

I don't think you're lazy.  I know you are suffering, otherwise you wouldn't be here.  And if you're like the rest of us, I'm sure there are certainly days when you are a drama queen.  None of us are perfect, but most of us are pretty decent.  That's why some folks got upset with your post in which you seemed to be annoyed that no one answered your question.  Honestly hon, we're not dermatologists.  I've seen plenty of disastrous, life-threatening results in people from my own extended family when they tried to diagnose and treat  themselves.
And another thing - there have been short tempers and disagreements between members here on multiple occasions - most of the time it all gets worked out and we all move on.  Just like in real life.  I love keeping in touch with everyone here; I worry about all of you. I am sorry that I hurt your feelings...as I have said before I just want you to get the help you need and that help is going to come from a medical professional not from the internet.  It just gets really frustrating when every day its something else and you still put off getting medical attention.Does anyone elses tiara make your head itch?

[QUOTE=levlarry]Does anyone elses tiara make your head itch? I have medical attention! Don't be frustrated...just don't read my post! You have medical attention??  I thought you didn't because you could not afford it?  No one is trying to attack you but you need medical attention, and if you are seeing someone you need to see someone else.  I did post on your thread about low income familys getting insurance from your state of Indiana, do not live there but I researched for you I hope you applied for it.  We all need to take action, and waiting around for disability isn't going to cut it.  I hope you do get disability, but chances are you won't not without doctors!!  Don't give me a rebuttled, just do it!  You want advice I gave you some for insurance TAKE IT!!!!
Please keep us posted!
No rebuttle. I did apply for that but they don't take into acount that there are bills to pay. They don't ask that. Just want to know what your husband brings in. Yeah right. 00 amonth with an$ 813 mogage payment not to mention all the other bills gas ,electricity, phone, internet etc.
I was turned down..But thanks for the help.
Hugs to you!
Hi LostPoet, I don't think I have ever talked to you before, but i just wanted you to know that in my own research I have done on state health insurance/medicaid/whatever you call it, it always says that you will be turned down the first time. That you have to apply a few times, and possibly have to get a lawyer to represent you in court as to why you should be on state-assisted health care. Anyway, DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED BY THIS!!!

I am not on here enough to see daily posts but I have come across many peoples' post throughout the last 7 months. I know all of this can be frustrating. Right now I am dealing with a doctor I don't like very much, but he listens to me, actually, I feel more like the doctor during our visits than he probably does because I am telling him what I want to do and he tells me if it is a good idea/bad idea. Ok, but I am going on a tangent now. Anyway, what I wanted to tell you that everyday I wake up all I want to do is have someone else take care of these problems. I want someone to tell me what meds to take, what to eat, when to go exerices and for how long, and make all those decisions for me. I am not ashamed of this admission, because it is daunting always dealing with this. I think anyone that has any chronic disease or illness can relate to this. But then I realize that if I want to accomplish my personal goals, that it is only me who will get myself there. And only I can get my ass out of bed, take my meds (which reminds me this very second), get some exercise and try to mkae sense of my disease and find the best route. But then again I have been dealing with this damn disease for 23 yrs now...ok, off point yet again.

Just try to take everything one day at a time, worrying about tomorrow won't help you handle today. If you have questions, ask them and someone will answer. And don't be discouraged by anyone on here. We all have a right to be here and talk. And we are all here trying to help one another, plain and simple. You just have to remember that we, too, are dealing with our daily problems, so don't be so quick to assume that anyone is trying to ignore you.

Most of us on here are not rude, drama queens or complainers, we are all fighting the same battle and have serious issues. A lot of us on here live far and wide and cant answer questions raised straight away due to time zones. If you ask for advice and are given the advice and you chose not to use it but keep asking for more advice evetually people wont offer anymore. I know you have serious health issues and money is a problem, it is for lots of us but only a doctor can give you the answers you need. A person on here might be able to say, i tried this or that or i had something similar but none of us are in a position to give a diagnosis.

LostPoet,
I have read all your posts and often sympathized with you.  However, please understand I think that a lot of us here (or at least me) don't feel qualified to give advice.  I can post that my heart goes out to you and many others on this board because I can certainly relate to your pain; however, I'm totally confused about my own problems and surely couldnt help with yours, even though I would like to.  The responses Ive read to your posts have all been heartfelt and people I believe are sincerely trying to help you if they can.
LostPoet,

I was struggling over how to respond to this post.  I was a bit taken back when you posted something (late at night) and then got upset because no one gave you an answer.  Sometimes, the boards are busy, sometimes they're not.  It's not personal.  But I have to say that the advice given by Buckeye, Jasminerain, and Reegie was very good and solid advice.  I believe that they have responded to your posts with a genuine concern, like many of us had.  We all understand that this disease is frustrating, scary, etc. but there are things we must do to get on with our daily lives and part of that is going for proper medical care, taking our medications, exercises, knowing our limits (which change day to day), etc.  We are our own stewards when it comes to managing this disease.  We can only share our experiences, we cannot diagnose.  Put this behind you and continue to post and realize that if you don't get a response to a post it is not personal.  We may just simply not know what it is, are not comfortable stating what it might be, and have no experience to share about it.  Peace to you, Hiking_gal
You may have to get an attorney to get your disability.  He will send you to a doctor.  You won't have to pay him until you get your disability check.  If you apply now through an attorney you will be on the road to collect disability.   Even if you don't get it until 6 more months down the road.   When you do get your first check it will be the amount of your check x 6.   So that will be a good amount of money.  You definitely need to seek out a disability attorney.
