I have been on mtx .4ml subq for about a year. a couple times my liver tests came back abnormal,i have gone off mtx for a couple weeks than it goes back to normal,so i resume mtx. well now my hgb and wbc's were low dr. had me off for a month redrew than normal. i have gotten a flare real bad this time that i went off. I am wondering if i should consider arava. I know i will talk with my rheumy as soon as i see her. in the mean time i think i am going to try to lowerr my mtx to .3ml.. I am alos on enbrel 50mg 2 times a week. I am so tired of giving myself shots!. I have been on medications for 1.5-2years i dont remember its been a nightmare. I finally began feeling wonderful this summer, now i am back to pain fatiuge stiffness! OMG I hate this disease!!! I havent even begun to accept this disease.I think if i did i would give up. Any one else on mtx,arava,or had probs with mtx?
