FREEGIN STRESS! | Arthritis Information

I live in Houma Louisiana currently, where the eye of Gustav went.

I have stressed because bills are behind due to out of town days in the hotel, husband had to get a new job etc. and i am still doing horribly bad.  I had about 3 months of great this year (great for me is being able to walk without trying to figure out the best way to move my legs).

But, once the hurricane came, i have gone BOOM, completely down hill and back to the starting board and i hurt sooooooooooo bad.  I know stress has put me there.

I want to cry.

House is ok, so is family, but stress is just too much.  Half the town still isn't running and doesn't have power, just a stressful time.

Thanks for listening, i needed to vent.

God bless.

Thank goodness you and hubby came home to a standing house. I'm sorry you're hurting! hopefully this will be the last of the storms and you can concentrate on getting better. I used to live in fL and went through a lot of evacuations and it does get costly when you add in food, gas, hotel, etc. I wish you the best of luck and lots of hugs too!

Sorry you are so stressed out bubba- you sure have reason to be. Hope things settle down, level off and that you get some kind of relief with your RA soon! Meanwhile- we're here for you any time you need to vent!I am so sorry!  I used to live in Destrehan and I think we evacuated a total of 4 times, and ran for water, bread 2 or 3 others.  One of the times we evacuated I was 9 months pregnant, and ended up having my son while we were evacuated (luckily in my hometown, staying at my parents, where we live now).  But it just turns your whole world upside down, to have your personal life under stress, and then look outside and the whole town, the news, your neighbors, they are all struggling too.
Hang in there!  Hope the cool fall gets there earlier this year, and that those hurricans stay away.
I'm glad you and your family (and home) are ok....but know the stress you are under. Actually I don't know exactly; but sure can imagine. I lived in CHarlotte, NC when Hurrican Hugo came through. It was horrible and Charlotte is a long way from the coast. We were without power for two weeks.

Praying for a timely resolve to your problems as well as your pain. It's good to hear from you.
