RA Comedy Routine | Arthritis Information

I am on pred to help my jaw.  It's helping some but not enough.  But I have minor swelling in places that I don't usually notice that it does help.  I am 30 now but when I was 20 I started to have pain with running in my feet that the doctors couldn't explain, but treated with Vioxx, which worked.  I stopped the Vioxx after a year. The RA hasn't gone away, but is mild...if I don't run, I'm not in pain.

So the pred has taken all the inflammation out of my feet, and I had a good time with it last night.  I thought my husbands eyes were going to bug out and jaw would hit the floor--I can make my feet pop when the swelling is gone (the joints in the middle) when I walk, esp. on carpet--its mostly involuntary but I can step certain ways to make it pop really loud.  Doesn't hurt at all.

So I did a little jig for him, the popping was so loud that it took me several minutes to convince him that it was my feet, and I wasn't trying to pull one over on him by making the sound with my mouth or something!

So occasionally I guess this can be the source of humor, right?
