Well it was bound to happen,I have been tripping on my Croc's now for a while.I'm ok except a skinned knee. took my telephone stand with me on the way down! Does anyone here wear Croc's?? I really love them but I guess it's time to find something else. I can't afford to fall anymore

Sorry you fell, Janlee...glad it wasn't too bad and only a skinned knee.
I know they are really ugly. and I only wear them around the house.Lol I wish I could go barefoot like the good ole days!I'm sorry you fell. I love my crocs, but I do catch my toe sometimes because of the soft rubber. Birkenstocks makes regular looking shoes now, not just the clogs and sandals. I have about 3 pair. Born makes very very comfy shoes, but they are quite expensive. I tried them on at Macy's then bought 4 different pairs on E-bay for the cost of one. Nurses wear the white born clogs alot. Teva makes good shoes. If you go to TJMaxx, or Ross, they always have good quality shoes at a fraction of the cost.

good luck looking and hold on to railings when you walk!
sorry you fell. crocs are evil!

i remember when I was a kid I LOVED jelly shoes! I was looking for a pair for my daughter a few years back, but never could find any.

hope you find a new pair of house shoes soon.
Thanks owiemom, I have had good luck finding deals on ebay. I have a pair of Birkenstocks, never could get them "broken" in. Thanks Joonie,  I remember the Jellie's, maybe Ebay? no, no need in finding them now... daughter is flat footed and needs shoes that will provide her an "arch".

I did search eBay for them tonight... and they had all kinds! Too bad I cannot wear them. I use to LOVE to go to K-Mart and get my mom to buy me a pair every summer.

It was like a "Tradition".... Just like every Saturday... my mom would run by McD's on our way to her work and get me a strawberry milk shake and a large fry. That all stopped when she stopped working at that rest home.

weird the things you forget and than REMEMBER! LOL!
Both my boys have orange crocs, with several boy-type jibbits (sp?) stuck in the holes.  Pirate flags, spiders, lizards, etc.  They look cute on little boy feet (esp when paired with olive green camo shorts and shirt - LOL!) but I don't think I could ever wear them!!!! I love my crocs and dont wear much else "EVEN IN PUBLIC" I havent been able to find anything as comfortable. They do such a good range now instead of just the clogs, I have a pair that i wear when we go out and they look good as well as being good for my feet. We have wooden floors and i do find sometimes that my clog kind stick to the floor when i go to walk and its made me stumble

I have the cyprus ones for wearing out...lol

they have come up with some cute styles, thanks

Some of the styles have been great for summer wear, I bought a pair when we were in New York last winter with sheepskin inside, I wear them with Jeans . It snowed in central park and they kept my feet toasty warm so i wasnt worried what i looked like

Pin, I have those ones with sheepskin in them but I can't seem to undo the sheepskin lining so I can wash them. Any tips?Ah Gimp, I was going to ask that question.lol If anyone knows then id be grateful too,I washed the whoe shoe but its not an ideal situation. I will ask at my local croc shop too
