Grrrr.... jinxed by rheumatologist | Arthritis Information

I had my semi-annual RD visit yesterday.  I am doing quite well overall - swelling/inflammation are non-existent in hands and feet; my only problems are with shoulders and left hip - and even those are not bad, just annoying.  Even my husband has noticed a big difference this year since I've started taking the plaquenil.  Anyway, she asked (as she always does) if I'd had any colds/infections/illnesses, and I have not.  Well, last night of course I start getting congestion, runny nose, headache, body aches, the urge to reach out and punch someone... GRRR looks like I got myself a summer cold.  On a more positive note, since I'm now working part-time, I have the option to stay home if I want... and I wanted to today!  I'm gonna go run some saline through my nose with the neti pot and go back to bed. Hope you feel better JR- just don't let your husband catch one of those man colds! LOL! [QUOTE=wanttobeRAfree]Hope you feel better JR- just don't let your husband catch one of those man colds! Oh it was.  I absolutely love our tub.  We had to remodel our bathroom several years back - we have an old house and the bathroom fixtures were original equipment.  In addition, the floor was rotting, there were leaks and it was a matter of time before someone ended up in the basement.sorry you are not feeling well... but glad to hear the ole RA is doing well.

Feel better soon
