Hi Whitedove.  Welcome to the forum.  I am sorry it's taken so long to respond.  I tend to hang in the Rheumatoid Arthritis room more than here as it causes me more issues than my OA.

However I too was just recently diagnosed with cervical arthritis.  I'm right there with you.  Scared and Lost.  It seems that there isn't much to do other than stretches, heat and ice therapy for pain management.  And then regular strength exercises which helps build bone strength and fight further bone loss.  At least that is the guidance I am being given.

I wish I could offer you more guidance.  Hang in there.

I'll be sure to stop in more often and look for your posts.

Hi Whitedove, I've had OE in small finger joints for several years.  Recently found a plant derived suppliment in which has helped me manage pain without the need for drugs.  It contains things like Resveratrol, Phytosterols, Turmeric rhizome, Resveratrol, Proprietary Protease Blend.  Name of the suppliment is bounceback.  Check with your docter, see if it is something they would recommend in your situation.
