Just wondering if there are any fans of the TV shows Paranormal State, Psychic Kids, or Ghost Hunters here?

We attended at 4 day conference this past weekend at Penn State University, hosted by members of the Penn State Paranormal Society.  It was so exciting, we can't stop talking about all the workshops and panel discussions we attended.  It was an opportunity to hear first hand about their investigations, get behind-the-scenes info, discuss controversies, and actually go on a ghost hunt with professionals.

We had the opportunity to meet and chat with the top paranormal investigators in the country, which was thrilling.  Lorraine Warren, Brian Harnois, Chip Coffey, Loyd Auerbach, and the entire cast of Paranormal State, as well as many others.

For our strange and twisted family it was a perfect vacation!
I LOVE that show.... but I no longer get that channel... heck I do not get any channel anymore LMAO! I miss watching my normal line up of shows.

That really does sound like a fun vacation! I wish I could do something like that, but my hubby is a "sissy" and does not like things like that or even horror movies. I am about the only one who likes that kind of stuff.

Joonie, I'm sorry you don't get the show anymore, but you can see a lot of the episodes on youtube!  Also, you should check out the website:

Yeah, I have been watching a lot of my normal shows online. I just forget which shows I normally watch. I have my TV set-up to do only my favorite channels and I do not have to hunt for them, I just have to change the channel to be on a channel I watch something on. I miss having tv, but it had to go.

I will check out YouTube later tonight when I am "bored" and cannot sleep LOL!

Thanks Karen!!!
I love watching Paranormal State! Mostly because it scares the living day lights out of my husband! He's such a baby. Mine is a scaredy cat too. He will not watch anything like that or even horror movies. I have gotten him to watch a couple of horror movies with me, but it was like putting teeth. Then he talks all thru the movie.

I watched ghost hunters over in-laws house one night. Do not get to finish watching it, or hear it very well... but I saw it!

I like to watch the specials they put on the Bio, Travel, and Discovery channels for the month of October. It is always "haunted" something.
By the way, Ryan is just as cute in person as he is on the show.  And my 18 year old son REALLY liked Heather, LOL!

Nice to know. He seems really sweet on the show. I cannot remember which on is Heather, but watch out your son might start dating her. Wow Hill, that sounds like my kind of vacation.  Have you ever heard of table tipping?  I have done that amongst other things to do with the paranormal.   GG I have heard about it, but don't know that much about it.  Do you do it as part of a seance?I love that show.............what a cool vacation.  For those of you who don't get their favorite shows try surfthechannel.com  I've watch all sorts of programs I needed to "catch up on".  Hulu.com is good too for programs and movies for free...........I watch Lisa Williams every week, that lady is amazing!!

I like Lisa Williams also - I am actually going to get to see her in November.  She is coming to the theatre we are involved with, and I can't wait.

I don't have a whole lot of experiences to tell.  I have seen two spirits who recently crossed over - one was my father.  I saw him very clearly, and could tell you exactly what clothes he was wearing.  The other was the spirit of a friend who had recently died.  He was a member of the church choir, and so were his wife and son.  On Easter Sunday as the choir was singing, I saw him standing right behind his wife, singing with everyone else!  It was pretty amazing.

The theatre I mentioned that we are involved in was built by Warner Bros. back in 1931 and is supposed to be haunted by 3 entities, according to Lorraine Warren.  I have been in the theatre many times when very few people are there, and I have been there alone at times also.  I only encountered something once, when I saw a black shadow walk across a doorway, and there was no one else around to cast the shadow.  Other folks have seen a ladder move across the stage by itself, or have seen someone sitting in the balcony watching rehearsals, that just vanishes from sight.  My hubby, son and I went down in the catacombs of the theatre and did a bit of ghost hunting.  I talked to the spirits and told them this was their chance to be seen, so the should pose for the camera.  My son put out his arms, and I snapped a photo.  Sure enough, it looked like he had his arms around two orbs!
