Follow Up, Went Ok | Arthritis Information

Had follow up with new RD today. Once again nothing outstanding in labs, which is what I was prepared for. He told me though that just because there was nothing in my labs it did't mean that RA was completely ruled out. He mentioned that some people do not register high RF levels in the first couple of years and went on to talk about seronegative RA. You don't know how much I wanted to hug this guy for even mentioning seronegative! Just knowing that is willing to admit that the blood work is not the end all and be all of it was great. He is kinda leaning towards fibro but is ordering an MRI of my hands and wrist to make sure there isn't any damage there. I am so glad to have found someone who 1) doesn't act like I am a crazy person and 2) is willing to go that extra mile to make sure I am getting the help I need!Sounds like a REALLY GOOD visit. I hope the MRI's help with the DX.
