OT- Trying new antibiotic | Arthritis Information

This is the high piont of my allergy season. Always has been. Bad idea to Sjorgrens and a sinus infection during allergy season. My sinuses runn like a river. Everything has collected in my chest.

Breathing seems to be an important part of life. Thought about just checking into the hospital.

Guess i will try some Biaxin. Well last time i tryed it I was on a role with allergic reactions.

That is I was allergic to Serevent and kept thinking it was other things.

I know i am allergic to Zithromyicin check spelling.

I have taken two microlides this year and lived threw it. So wish me luck.

I believe after 25 days on an antbiotic it is time for change.

If it does not work the hospital will still be there.

If it does work I will let you know. As i will be so happy and excited. I am not to afraid of allergic reactions when i have prednisone around.

Well some allergic reactions i am afraid of. Just not mild ones.

Now i am not saying that i had no help from the cipro. I mean truly 25 days of Cipro has seemed to even improve many problems. With Sjorgren"s it is a mirical that i even have tear production and sinuses that flood. It is just i have to much now. Also it got rid of the white patch of strep on my throat.

Well I need to go find out when to start taking the Biaxin. I already took Cipro this morning.

Oh I probably never mention the spider bites. That is what i think they where. In south GA my brothers yard was full of brown reclus spiders.

Anyway one day i felt what i thought was a big boil on my back. When I looked it looked like several spider bites on my back. I could not reach them to itch if I had wanted to. Well all of the skin peeled off of them.

Mostly they burned really bad more than itching. That was in July I believe. But it is a mystery as really do not know what it was.

Oh what really made me mad about the spider bites or what ever. I had just finished a 14 day course of Avelox and was taking Nystatin at the time. I thought why didn't this happen before I took the antibiotics. Talk about bad luck.Here you are Milly, now I understand what you were saying about antibiotics. Are you still on probiotics? 25 days of ABX? You need probiotics and sweetie, I don't care if your stomach hurts. Sorry, but true. Probiotics, probiotics, probiotics!

Are you sure they're brown recluses? Because you need a hospital for that.

Of course i need a hospital in my back pocket to carry around with me. Whats your piont? LOL Just kidding it was very scarry. No I am not sure what the large bumps with the skin peeling off was about. It could have steven johnson syndrome for all i know. I just woke up that way. Not all brown recluses are infected. They say MRSA is often mistaken for spider bites. I mean seriously. I am a bit allergic to Nystatin. That is rare but true. I was taking Nystatin at the time and actually swallowing it.

A doctor told me once that Nystatin is not absorbed into the blood stream so based on that he did not think it would kill me to take Nystatin even if I am allergic to it. Ususally i just swish and spit. But I was actually swishing and swallowing. But thats the least of my worries.

I had strep. I am genetically unable to fight strep. Add Plaquinil. Add RA. Do the math.

I was reading about Rheumatic Fever last night. It said some people are genetically prone it is thought to get that. Well if not for antibiotics that would be me. My grandfather and his father both had Rheumatic Fever.

Now there was a time when i could take erythramiacin. There was a time when i could take sulfa. But in my fight against Rheumatic Fever I have basically burned out on most antibiotics and become allergic to them. In the past i had been told to continue taking Biaxin. As in i have mild reaction to it. It has been 10 years scince i took it. Probably scince i did not listen to the doctors then i am able to i hope take it now. So far i am doing fine on it.
