I have been baffling many doctors for over 14 months now including my RA. He just told me he found jo-1 anitibodies in my blood work. I am really scared after researching this. My symptoms which have not let up over a year include leg heaviness and weakness although the heaviness is not there anymore. I have knee and thigh pain and cannot stand or walk that long. Prior to this, I exercised almost every day for an hour or two so this is very frustrating. Anybody have jo-1 antibodies and can you please explain to me what it can be? I am 46 years old and used to be very active. I am so limited in my activities now and have not been able to kneel down in over a year. Very frustrating!! Just a quick note--after sleeping my legs feel fine in bed but as soon as my feet hit the ground my nightmare begins again (weakness). Please, I would greatly appreciate any information anyone can share with me. Thank you.
