I have been have tummy pains and I'm not sure why. It has been going on for a month. I get diarrhea with it. I know my stomach is not bleeding because I do not have the usual symptoms. I have had that problem before. I'm going to the doctor today but, I know they are going to want me to go for an ultrasound and by the time I get in for one everything is going be fine.Could it be the Humira and Meth combo? Any help would be great! Gina
Let us know what you find out....it especially of interest to me considering I'm on both as well.
What the signs of your stomach bleeding by the way?
Pain or a burning sensation between the top of your ribs, eating bland foods or taking anti-acids will help. But, the pain comes back. it is kinda gross! watch your stools. if, they are black or look like coffee or if, you vomit anything looking like coffee or fresh blood. Any of these signs go to the emergency room ASAP!

K~I don't think I have any of those problems right now...but I've taken far more than my fair share of Advil over the last 12 years and several posters have be a wee bit nervous about that lately.

Gina... I have stomach pain and leg craps, from what my RD has told me, It all goes along with the RA. Yippeee...aren't we lucky. The one bout of stomach pain landed me in the hospital for 5 days. I had diarrhea and bleeding, but the colonscopy showed nothing wrong. Check with your Rd about this.
I think I am going to ask my Rheumy about the leg cramps and stomach burnings. Cause they sure are raring their ugly heads more and more these days... sometimes worse than the RA pains.
Right now I am not on anything that should cause this much discomfort. ( Prednisone 20mg, Inh, Vit B6 and Vicodin)
I am on Prévasid and I have been watching what I am eating but still is happening and the cramping all over my lower extremities is enough to worry the Pope...I am SOOOOO Glad I see the doctor in 10 days. I need a reprieve from all the fun I have been having..LOL..

i went to my primary doctor....God bless it of course the ultra sound showed nothing! She said to stay on a bland diet until I felt better. And they could run some more test! Hell no no more test! I'm going to ask my RD about the stomach and leg pain. i have leg pain sometimes too. I'm so frustrated i feel like poop and my husband says i look like i do not feel well.i have not gone to work for a week.
