Spontaneous Bruising | Arthritis Information

Have any of you ever had spontaneous bruising from your immunosuppresants? I had 5 new bruises on Monday and got 4 new ones between breakfast and lunch. The biggest is about 3" wide and they don't hurt at all. I left a message with the rheumy nurse this afternoon and she said the dr would get back to me in the morning. Also having a lot of back and abdominal pain and am totally drained of energy. And I was just feeling so great since I switched to cellcept. At least I am too tired to be disappointed about how bad I feel now.

Laker, I bruise easily under any situation, so I don't have any input but to say I am sorry you are having such a rough time and your doctor gives you some answers.  I think mine was attached to my inflammation anemia, and has cleared up under treatment.  My lifelong bruising has really slowed down.  Laker,
I bruise quite easily as well, but not from immunosuppressants. I'm on 9mg of warfarin which makes my blood pretty thin. The back and abdominal pain doesn't sound right. I'm curious to see what your rheumy says. Hope you have a good night!!
