Welcome to the site! You will find a great caring bunch of people. I too have just been recently diagnosed with fibro? I also have osteo-arthritis. Right now we(my doctor and I) are trying to find a medication that will help me. My regular doctor is wonderful.
I know what you mean, I still often think, it must be something else...that this much pain can't just be the fibro...but all my lab tests turned out ok...so I just have to accept it and try to go on. One day at a time, has become my favorite phrase to say...but somedays it is very hard to do.
I hope you have some people in your life that are able to be helpful and supportive to you. It is hard for most people to understand, because we never look sick. Again welcome, hope to hear from you again.
