Gosh I thought there'd be a Survivor thread already. I was glad my night to watch it in the living room was a 2 hour special, DD's basement bedroom doesn't have any comfortable seating.
Do you think they keep all the big animals away from the camps during the day, I expected them to run into an errant elephant on the way to the pit toilets.
Some interesting characters already, the guy who hit his head is a jerk. The gay guy with the hots for the straight guy is funny. Looks like it will be an interesting show. The Maine school teacher is already a skeleton, good luck with that.I watched last nite, good to have a mixture of ages but I got to admit I'm glad Jillian was voted off, she was really getting too "cheer leader' for me. don't think the fang tribe will be able to pull off any challenges. it seems to be a bunch of winers.Ninil....I thought that they must have some kind of barrier, at least in the water. Hippos are one the deadliest animal in Africa for people. Their is no way that one guy would have been looking for the hidden idol in that water if the hippos and crocs weren't kept away.

Do you remember the other Survivor in Africa, weren't the huts inside a big thorn branch enclosure to keep out the lions. This time it doesn't look like they're protected at all, didn't one of them say an elephant was 30 yards away. I'll have to go to the CBS website, but it takes forever to download anything, I hate dial up.
