OT Time differences | Arthritis Information

I am curious.  It is 10:00 in the morning here in CA.  How much time difference is there with Australia and New Zealand?  Is it 12 hours?  I tried to look it up but couldn't find it.Jan, here is a link to a World Clock that will give you current times in cities all over the world. We have just started our daylight saving (yaaahhh!!) and I just checked....the time is correct.

For New Zealand you need to look at Auckland and for Australia look at State Cities like Sydney or Perth as that continent is so vast, there are time variations like in the USA.

I will think of you tomorrow at 3pm  Ca time, when you are ushering in the new year!!!
Jan, as I write this it is 10.55 am here and 1.55 pm in California so the difference is 21 hours by my calculations!! Meaning you are 21 hours behind us.

I was born in the first city in the world to see the new sun each day...Gisborne. Will be back there for a family reunion next week so really looking forward to that.

Have a wonderful safe New Year Jan and everyone.

Lorraine
well.. how cool is that!??~
I know my friend in Germany has already celebrated .. I got an email from her cause she wanted to be the first to wish me Happy NY!!It is 1:27 am here in Zagreb, Croatia
Gisborne is off the beaten track really, meaning it is a destination not a place you would normally pass through. The wonderful film ' Whale Rider' was fimed a few miles up the coast.
I cant wait to get back and to visit with so many cousins/aunts/uncles I haven't seen for years.

Yes...NZ has been pretty tough about people emigrating here when they have serious health issues. That will change  Im sure when ( and its inevitable) compulsory medical insurance is brought in.
Hope to see you when you visit!!
