Does anyone get severe sore throat pain? | Arthritis Information

AchingAudrey2008-11-30 21:27:55I get like tendon itis of the throat. I am not on Embrel. I have like this line or tendon or something goes down the roof of my mouth into my throat. It's wierd like fibro of the mouth and throat. Any one know what that is. I have been getting it on and off for years. Audrey, I googled "RA and sore throat" and found the following posting on another web site.

Also, the entry for Enbrel on drugs.com says, "Notify your doctor immediately if you develop persistent fever; extreme or unusual fatigue; unexplained or prolonged bruising or bleeding; black, bloody or tarry stools; fever or chills;
or signs of infection such as sore throat or pale
skin. These symptoms may be signs of blood problems.
I'd call the doc today if I were you, just to be safe.

My mouth gets so dry at times it makes my throat sore. Like you though it passes after a couple of days. Sometimes I can barely talk it's so bad.I am not on Enbrel but I have a sore throat all the time it tenses up so bad I can't speak at times. I am on Orencia. I also get mouth ulcers and they go down my throat. Not a pleasant thing. At first they said it was from acid reflux had a endoscopy and they stretched what ever and also had the h plori virus so treated that but I still have trouble with the throat. I have just chalked it up to being one of those things that happen.
