I am searching (frantically) for any information on Rheumatoid lung
disease. I had a right plural effusion, went thru multiple surgeries -
now have bad rt lung. Just diagnosed with left plural effusion - lung
nodules also (biopsy on same show Rheumatoid) - and am putting off same
treatment in a desperate attempt to find another less invasive, drastic
treatment. I can find only one small paragraph on this particularly
rare complication of Rheumatoid - says methotrexate can cause this, but
not much other info. Anyone??? My meds are: Methotrexate, Enbrel no
nsad's or steriods
Look it up under interstitial lung disease and you should find a wealth of information. "Ra Lung" is more common than one might expect. Thanks for that, though that is not what I have. Mine is fluid in the pleural lining causing the lung to collapse. Anyone?
