[/QUOTE] All eyes are on the US and its financial crisis which effects the global financial markets.   Other countries stock markets are falling -- they buy our debt, which has nearly doubled from .5 billion to trillion under THIS Administration.  If things don't turn around, we could be headed for a global recession, Canadians are not the only world citizens concerned about American politics. I see...so that's one vote for "smartest man ever!" This financial crisis is so huge and scarey, you know, the next president is in for a tough job, and will have to make some tough and unpopular decisions, and like Bush, Sr. could be a one term president, who said when campaigning, read my lips no new taxes and then raised taxes. Wow....that's digging up bones!

So are you trying to give the Dems an out so if they're voted in and can't do the job they claim they can they'll just blame it on past administrations? Priceless!
No Blessed, I'm just making a nonpartisan comment.  We all have our favored candidate, but at some point, we need to set aside this partisan bickering and focus on what its gonna take to pull this country out of this spiraling economic slide. Joie, that's a good point... Unfortunately, that won't happen while there is an election coming up.... After that, whoever is President, we need to back him to get this mess cleaned up.... i'm voting for Obama, need big changes in this country and i think he will get things done. i think McClain might be ok but i don't want another 4 years of Bush ty for letting me say this . sorry I will  vote  for  Obama  and   I  voted  for  bush 2  times. The republican party as  it is  now  is  a complete  failure  untill all the  right wing  religious  nutbags  are  removed  from the  party  I  hope  the  republican party loses  and  loses  big this  election. For  those  of  you that are  religious  nut  bags.. please  try  and  start a  "revolution"   when  obama   wins  and  watch how  soon  US  Marines  are  ordered  to  and  will open  fire  and   kill  you. Marines   follow  orders  if  they were  ordered  into  a  american  city  and   "suppress"  ie  kill fellow   americans  make  no mistake  the  Marines  will  follow  orders  and  shoot  and  kill  any  american  they  are  ordered  to.
