Shame on you and this forum!

AchingAudrey2008-11-30 21:42:54In an average of polls, Obama is up 6.3 percent in Virginia. Audrey-

Sounds good.
She has been a game changer. Libs love to put her down, but even they would admit she has peaked interest. Just look at the VP debate. All those extra million were not tuning in for Little Joey They also weren't tuning in because they support her - they were watching for entertainment value.
They also weren't tuning in because they support her - they were watching for entertainment value.
I don't think so. People wanted to see what she was like, on the issues and her overall feeling about the VP. Hardly entertainment. How do you know that millions were not supporting her. Do you also read palms?
Audrey, how was it!?Many were watching based on the two Katie Couric interviews and the Tina Fey skits on Saturday Night Live - to see what was going to happen next.  You don't have to be psychic to know that.My husband never watches political debates but he watched Biden-Palin to laugh at Palin.

I am not proud of that fact, but at least he watched a debate?
In Anchorage, an Anti-Palin Protest

By Karl Vick
ANCHORAGE -- A couple of hours after Gov. Sarah Palin returned to the Outside, as Alaskans call the Lower 48, her local critics swarmed an Anchorage intersection to correct the widespread impression that the whole of the Last Frontier endorses her candidacy.

The midday protest outside a city library drew a crowd in the high hundreds -- perhaps surging past a thousand -- from the city's relatively liberal environs, who seemed very happy to see one another and be reminded that they are not alone.

"The whole thing grew out of frustration," said Charla Sterne, one of the organizers, who like several people at the rally declined to say where they worked (several said they were state employees and feared retribution).

"Last week this was just ten women sitting around talking about this perception that all of Alaska supports Sarah Palin. We apparently hit a nerve and started a movement," Sterne said.

A sense of festival obtained. There was a woman in a polar bear suit representing "Polar Bear Moms Say: No Palin." Drivers on 36th Avenue saw a little girl waving a sign "Don't Ban My Books."

Maia Nolan, 29, wore a sticker reading, "My Mom for V.P."

"My mom is from Alaska. She's a working mother. She's good looking," said Nolan. "So she seems to be qualified to be vice president."

There were also a few score Palin supporters in the mix, most of them alerted to the event by a conservative talk show host.

Eddie Burke of KBYR-AM showed up in person, but while there was no evident friction between the two camps, cheerful chants of "O-bam-ah" effectively drowned out whatever he was saying to the cameras in the center of a mini-media scrum.

The din did not prevent reading the signs, pro and against:
Bush In A Skirt
Palin: She Be Failin'
I Love My Alaska Girl
Jesus Was a Community Organizer
We Luv Our Lady Guv
Palin: Thanks But No Thanks

Hey Cindy, I see you only have 7 posts and they're all in the political threads. When were you diagnosed with RA?

I was diagnosed with Palindromic 4 years ago, and it went to RA 3 years ago.

Oh great....now Lev's going to post about 4 dozen emails calling youn a liar and saying you don't really have RA. I'd say I wish that guy would spend 5 minutes doing research, but that won't help as he edits out any information that doesn't fit into his warped reality.cindyb525-

I've started the Antibiotic Protocol.  Have posted about it quite a bit.

What treatment are you on and how are you doing?
So far I have been on plaquenil, sulfasalazine, methetraxate, and now humira. I also do prednisone bursts when it gets bad, and take baclofen so I can sleep thru the night.
I would love to find a doctor who would do the antibiotics, because so far nothing else has helped all that much. I am still having problems with my hands, feet, hips and shoulders.
I'm sorry for that. I've been having problems with my fingers and left shoulder. I truly believe that in my case it's directly related to stress - I do have a teenage daughter!
Hey Cindy, I see you only have 7 posts and they're all in the political threads. so.. you came here for political banter?

Just curious too.

Seems strange that someone would come to a forum such as this - a medical forum... to talk politics but dont' talk about what ails them?   IDK, I feel confused.. and I am not saying you can't do jsut that.. I just don't understand the "why"

though I participate on occasion w/ the political threads... it's not why I'm here..and you'll find lots more RA postings than politico stuff......

The only other person I can think of who posts mostly political agendas is DONN...
babs.  some people use distraction as a way to help them cope with their disease/pain.  Many of you use lots of oxy and hydrocodone.  Some of us simply use distraction.  Is there something wrong with that?

All those people wanted to see her because it is like seeing the side show at a carnival.

I agree with distraction, if I talked about RA all day I would be terribly depressed.  I appreciate that it depends on how advanced your RA is of course and how much pain one is in but talking about politics is a great distraction and I live in Canada!!!  Your politics are much more interesting than ours, and sorry folks but Ms Palin comes across as a pretty scary prospect for President should anything happen to John McCain.

THIS RA HAS ME FEELING LOUSY MOST OF THE TIME, BUT READING THE BABBLE BY THESE LIBERAL PINHEADS IS ENOUGH TO MAKE A PERSON VOMIT.

I am sorry you have RA Donn...but having you vomit sounds like a pretty good idea to me at least! Might get rid of some of the woman hating BS you have inside.
