MRI, No Damage | Arthritis Information

I saw rd last Friday. He looked at the results of my MRI and goes "I have good news and bad news. The good news is the MRI is fine, there is no damage. The bad news I don't know what's wrong with you" ..gotta love an honest doc! I am relieved to know there is no damage being done. And he reassured me more than once that just because my blood work shows normal and the MRI is normal does not mean that he discounts what I say about the pain. He is still leaning toward fibro. The pressure points were tender, but I didn't jump out of teh chair or anything. I have a prescription for Lyrica he wants me to try for a month and then come back.  I haven't been able to get it, base pharmacy has been closed but I am going to start it tomorrow. I don't feel like we've gotten to the bottom of this yet, but I do believe I finally have a doc worth sticking with!that's important, CG.. a doc you have faith in..

I wish you relief!!!
carolina - I am very happy you got good results, and a doctor who is not dismissing you and working with you - you are very, very, very lucky - good luck.Well, it is great news you don't have damage. Just focus on that and your dr sounds great. Let  him try to figure it out. That's what you pay him for. I hear alot of people that do with with the Lyrica. I hope it helps!!Carolinagirl, good news that there's no damage and it sounds like your doctor is working with you.  I use Lyrica and it has greatly helped.  Had some swelling and eye issues for the first 6 months or so but all is ok now.  Wish you luck with the med.  Lindy
