moderate flare | Arthritis Information

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you know my ISP got back online Tue afternoon. I have missed writing all my friends at Arthritis Insight. I was at work eighteen hours straight during Wilma. I had a moderate flare in one of my hands but managed to keep it under control with a Nambutone. Thank goodness it was effective for once as there were no others to take over my assignment.

Hope all of you that experienced Wilma are ok.

PS all you cat lovers out there send kitty prayers. My handsome Marty is at the vets desparately ill with liver disease.

Hi Barbara,

Glad to see you back on line.

Prayers for your special friend Marty.  I hope he gets well soon and mommy can breath a sigh of releif.

I lost my best friend Machie, last April and my heart is still sad...

Very Glad to see that you survived Wilma and that you didn't have to suffer to much with a RA flare during that time...They sure don't happen at the best times...

Glad to have you back Barbara.

Please rest and take care of yourself.

Toni

Hi Toni,

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. This past Monday my ISP was down again for over 24 hours. More hurricane repair, they said.

My handsome Marty did not make it. He died last Wed. I still can not believe how quickly it happened. The house seems so empty without him.

Yes those flares do seem to happen at the most inconvient times. If stress does trigger them then I was lucky that all I had during the hurricane was a moderate one. Most of mine are associated with my working nights or right after I get off. Wish I could quit but then that is only a dream.
