When Larry Craig was accused of playing footsies in the stall of a rest area, it was the top story of every news station. Democrats called for his head and did all they could to shame him. Have any of you ever heard this story? Where is the democrat outrage? Anyway, here's a small part of the story. With our democratic news system you probably won't hear much more than this. You certainly won't see that no-ethics, no moral fiber, Nancy Pelosi calling for an investigation and talking about morality and changing the corruption in politics. Anyway, here it is.
(The Politico) Rep. Tim Mahoney (D-FL), whose predecessor Mark Foley resigned in disgrace, paid his alleged mistress -- a former staffer -- 1,000 in a settlement, according to ABC News, citing Mahoney staffers.
A spokesman for Mahoney said no campaign or office funds were used for the payout.

Mahoney, who is married, also promised the woman, Patricia Allen, a ,000 a year job for two years at the agency that handles his campaign advertising, the staffers said.
A Mahoney spokesperson would not answer questions about the alleged affair or the settlement, but said Allen resigned of her own accord and "has not received any special payment from campaign funds."
The affair between Mahoney and Allen began, according to the current and former staffers, in 2006 when Mahoney was campaigning for Congress against Foley, promising "a world that is safer, more moral."
The staffers say Mahoney first met Allen at a campaign stop and later arranged for her to work as a volunteer on the campaign. Allen also appeared in a Mahoney campaign television commercial, criticizing his opponent.
Following his election in 2006, Allen was hired, at taxpayers expense, to work on Mahoney's Congressional staff in Florida, at a yearly salary of ,000.
After complaints about the affair circulated in Washington, Allen was moved to the campaign staff, the staffers say.
Friends of Allen told ABC News that Allen sought to break off the affair when she learned Mahoney was allegedly involved in other extra-marital relationships at the same time.
Her friends say she told them Mahoney threatened that ending the relationship could cost her the job.
"You work at my pleasure," Congressman Mahoney told Allen on a January 20, 2008 telephone call that was recorded and played for Mahoney staffers. ABC News was provided a copy.

And I'm giving you the facts and just the facts. There are many moderated forums that do not allow political posts or any other posting that the moderators or admin disagree with. You may be quite happy at one of those. This type of wide open forum just may not be your type of forum or maybe it is because you seem to have some anger that you need to let off and it's allowed here. You don't always have to be kisses and hugs at this wonderful forum. Can't fight with the husband? Everything okay on the homefront? Anything you'd like to discuss on this open forum? We give good relationship advice also.

You know Lev its easy to try and be a bully behind a screen name. I bet you were one of those kids that always got beaten up on the playground. And now that you can hide behind a computer you think you can wear the big boy pants. True there are some people on here that look for hugs and kisses all the time but you did this to someone new hear. And that is just rude. Apparently she was starting to pull up her "boot straps" and learn more about here disease by talking to people in similar situations. Not from someone that uses this forum for self drum beating. Is it really you with the home problems since you need to pick fights with everyone here ? Or has this disease made you a bitter and not a better person. The world is full of people that have no sympothy for this disease it should not come from someone with it. I just wanted to remind you that you came to my posted thread looking for trouble with me. I didn't go looking for trouble with you. If you would take off your "big boy pants" and read what I posted to your new friend (who will probably end up stealing your identity) you would realize that i gave her good advice. Oh and take off your anti-LEV glasses too. It's crazy that a person would go to the same doctor for 6 years and cry after each meeting, receive no direction from friends and loved ones for six years,end up here for advice and I tell her to quit crying and take action, GOOD ADVICE, she all of a sudden acts like she just saw the wizard and is full of courage and attacks me, (can't do the same to her doctor of six years) and then you pull up your "big boy" pants and come looking for a fight with me while you are hiding behind your computer. Happy now?

I have nothing against crying but I do believe that somebody crying over something that can be corrected needs to quit crying and take corrective action. I'm not apologizing. And then ISLANDBABY decides to become the new LEVLarry basher and doesn't like my responses when she attacks me and of course trys to turn it around as if I went looking for her, what a surprise.

Boy Donn that was original did it take you all morning to come up with that one or did your feminin side just come to light. I really do drink the green Monster Juice. I'm not saying that it's any better than any other energy drink, just like the taste and it has a nice kick. I quit drinking coffee and started drinking the Monster Juice. I get it at Sam's club for about .28 per can in 24 pack. Back before I started taking enbrel, I could sleep 24 hours a day, get up and eat and go back to bed. The enbrel used to be my happy sticks. I'm not sure what they put in the enbrel, but it sure does take away the fatigue. Once again, I'm not endorcing Monster Juice, it's just what I use every day, some times twice a day, like today and yes, I'm still jiggling my leg at about a hundred miles an hour.

just wasnt sure about drinking those energy juices with the mtx. I guess it is no differant then me trying to drink as much coffee as my stomach can tolerate. What does it matter what he sounds like? People need to grow up and quit crying and make the changes that need to be made. There is nothing wrong with crying. Crying helps eliminate toxins. When your child was trying to do something and got frustrated and started crying, what would you say. My favorite saying was "Cry, cry, go to bed." Still brings smiles to my face. Gosh, how powerful those words were. I very seldom had to listen to a unwarrented cry. We are in charge. We are. We all need to quit crying over things that we can change. It's okay to cry because we have ra. Ra cripples so much more than joints. It cripples our smiles and our happiness and our good thoughts and even our naughty thoughts. We can cry for that, we can't change it. What we can change we shouldn't cry for. Whether he's a good doctor or bad doctor, who knows, there's always two stories and unfortunately, we've only heard one. Look at all those that would make you think that I am some ogre but you know how far from the truth that is, right?

Duh, I got lost in the hijack or the jungle or my mind or or or or or somewhere. You are right, the guy needs to be gone. I think that so many politicians get such huge egos and think that the egos somehow gets in their pants. Even city poloticians which I've been around for quite some time are embarrassing at what they believe they are in their own minds.
