Anybody ever hear of this from RA. My Dr is making me get an MRI to ck since I'm having such bad calf and leg pain...Thanks

I have it but not int he lower back. In the neck area. They found it during an MRI when I had a pinched nerve betwen the C6-C7.

Are the doing an MRI on the disks of your lower back to see if it is the sciatic nerve?

Hi 6t5frlane,

My Rheumatologist had an MRI done of my wrist. It was part of the diagnostic process. He found two small subacute bone errosions which are indicative of RA. Your Dr might be doing the MRI to check for that. I am sure MRI`s show more than bone errosions though so most likely he /she is tring to find out what exactly is causing your calf and leg pain. Good luck and keep us posted.

I also have pain and infamation in the middle of my back. The weird thing is most of my joints are ok.

I'm having this problem in my back too. It's higher than the "lower back" but lower than the middle. I'd say it's about where my ribs stop on the bottom.

I've had a time with it over the past couple months.

Please PM me if you get any confirmation on exactly what's causing it.

Lovie
