Hope I didn't go on and on, I am a bit tipsy. Yes, I have a drink or two on MTX. Just red wine three days after I take MTX and three days before the next dose as per my doctor. They watch my liver and its fine. Hicuup.



Honey....what was the point of this????? Some people have a drink some people openly admit to smoking marijuana......not sure why you would want to post this Is there some reason for the amount of hostility among some members of this group?  It doesn't sound like a support group at all any more.

[/QUOTE] Bird Girl has had RA for several years I believe.  She is on a biologic and an intravenous biophosphate (osteoporosis drug).  Since I have a similar medical history and am on similar meds, I find her contributions to this forum insightful and informative.  She has also shared her experiences w/dealing with insurance companies and tips on traveling when you're on a med like a biologic that requires refrigeration.  I have found many of her posts helpful so I hope she has not been run off by these mean spirited attacks.  While this forum serves many purposes, for some socializing or an opportunity to discuss current events, politics or other subjects, the main purpose of this forum is to share our RA experiences and offer support. I think that if you go back and read Honey's post about her suxual assualt and then read what BirdGirl posted about the attack, you will be able to see why Honey trully believes that BirdGirl had to be drunk or completely mental to turn a sexual assault into a form of flattery. It wasn't a PM[/QUOTE] When Bird Girl was rude to her it was like a 2 days ago.  I think Honey just found that post and figured she must have been drunk when she responded to her post!!

Gosh I almost missed this. You must be upset because I called you ugly? What if I am black? You called me much worse, and BTW, I have no children, never used a single food stamp or welfare money. I have had some sort of job since I was 11 years old. How about you? I ask because women have the same problems as blacks do. We get 77 cents to every dollar a man makes for doing the exact same work. And if you have been in the work force since the 70's like me, you would realize you have much more in common with a black man than with white men.

Sorry, if I seemed cold about your assault. But I was assaulted by a white man and I don't hate them, oohh I married one. Probably hate that too, right? If you still freak over an assault then I urge you to get therapy. I promise it helps a lot and you will be a better person. You won't use it to hate people but to help other people.

I'm not going away, I am just a very busy person. I have never come here daily or that frequently as I work, have severe RA, sick In Laws. Politics should not be here at all, and if people must be racist someone should tell them to shut up about it. Someone should shame them. Shame on you.

Oh, and the birds are migrating, almost done but if you can find a lake nearby you might see some amazing birds. You posted this thread about me, taunted me for not responding and now you are claiming its not you?

BTW, Donn I am not insulted you called me trashy. I have no respect for any opinion you state. You are so full of lies and racism that I find it hard to believe you think your posts are going to turn independents to McCain. You are turning away people that are undecided so keep it up.The only coward is Honey.  She started this mess, turned up the flame and is now "leaving" because she can't handle the heat.  How lame is that?WHAT IS A "SUXUAL ASSUALT"?????????You guys scare me
