Cold weather is miserable, especially if it's that damp, dreary cold you get from living near the water. Hubby bought me an electric lap blankie at Walmart about a year ago. It's smaller than a twin size blanket, but big enough to wrap around your whole body while hunkered down on the couch. I love mine! I think it was around . I have even taken it in the car for drives. We bought an adapter for the ciggarette lighter, so you can use a regular plug in it - what another great invention. ugh.. I feel the cold go right to the bone,... I hate it. wow that blanket sounds really lovely, i wonder if I can get one here for my mother, i will have to look.

Sorry you are feeling crappy. I think the change in the weather has brought more aches to me as well. Feel better!
