I missed you all and hope you are doing well.
A quick update on me. I had my final chemo last Thursday - I survived, yay!! I look like an alien, no hair, eyelashes, eyebrows and so on. My RA hasn't kicked in yet, the effects of the chemo lasts a while. In 2 weeks I start a hormone called Arimidex which is known to cause joint pain. Whatever, I'm no stranger to that. I had a choice between that or the drug that causes blood clots and more cancer so I opted for the pain.
I have to find a new Rheumatologist, mine moved. I am currently taking nothing but pain meds as needed. Oh, I also had a case of the shingles for Christmas but it was short lived. I did get some good pain meds out of it though. I'm so happy to see everyone is back.
