No Pain Meds | Arthritis Information

 

Well... I have not been taking pain meds since my Remicade infusion some time end of last month, I believe. Sorry... my days are just one BIG week or month

 

I have been taking muscle relaxers, only 1 a day. I am suppose to be taking them 3 times a day, but I am just being drug resistant right now. Only take what I need, like the meds that will KILL ME if I stop taking them, ie pred & BP meds.

 

I do not understand how not taking your BP meds a couple of days will kill you.

 

Yep... no need for pain meds right now. The pain I do have is very bearable and ignorable. Not like it went away completely when I took the pain meds anyways.

 

Most of my problems right now are fibro, that is why I am still taking that 1 muscle relaxer. I know I should do the 3 a day, but I just do not feel like taking them... they are some horse pills Joonie, bystolic and coreg are both beta blockers (though coreg also has alpha-blocker activity).  That means that they do about the same thing, and you can switch between them with little risk (assuming the new one is at a therapeutically similar dose to the old one). No pain meds is GREAT NEWS!!!! You had a lot of pain for a long time. Hope this change is for good!
