I want to be in 3rd grade again | Arthritis Information

So my mom can call up my work and say "Mr. Smith, I'm sorry, but Katie is still sick with a virus and needs her rest, so she can't make it into work today."  And then I could lie in bed all day.  And no one would notice that my hours were low, and work wouldn't start stacking on my desk while I was gone.  Can you imagine?  Ahhhhhhhhhh.  I did tell DH that if I am still run down tonight after work, I am going to sit in the recliner and do nothing for at least 2 hours.  I need to get better.  But when I get home there are tiny little things to do that require not sitting in the recliner and I am too Type A to ignore them.  I guess I feel marginally better than yesterday.

At least I have my space heater at work.  I am dangerous with that thing.  I close my door and I'm pretty sure my office gets well above 75 degrees.  But if I have to go to work when I'm sick, everyone can deal.
do what you need to, Katie..... heat up the room.... veg... go to bed, for goodness sakes!!

(I have a heater in my office that I run even in summer.... the office is an icebox!!)
My bedroom is an icebox literally!! All I got keeping me warm is hubby, well not anymore he is out of the bed, and my electric mattress pad, which I might add is not doing a hot job at keeping me warm!

We have not took the AC out of the bedroom window yet, it just all of a sudden turned cold on us. And no use in using the electric heater, as the heat will go out the window literally, until the AC is out of the window.

Sorry to hear you are feeling so poor, Katie. I hope you get to feeling better soon and stop being such a type A person and rest a little! Hope you feel better Katie!

I too have a space heater in my office at all times! they freeze me out in the summer with the AC. Everyone complains about how hot my office is. I tell them I like it tropical!
(Good way to keep people out too!)

I have a space heater at the office too!  I keep it under my desk and aim it towards my legs.  Keeps me nice and toasty in my cold office.

Hope you feel better soon.  I have to admit, though, when I'm not feeling well, 2 hours in the recliner wouldn't nearly be enough time for me.
