I'm so stinking bored- what's everyone doing?

I am making my grocery list and going thru a recipe book to get dinner ideas. I'm so tired of everything we have been having for dinner.

Shame on you and this forum!

AchingAudrey2008-11-30 12:30:46Any ideas worth passing on?

AchingAudrey2008-11-30 12:29:56Yes! I make good use of my crockpot! I especially like to use it on the weekend so instead of tying myself up cooking I can throw something together in the morning and then go get lost for the day!i love my crockpot too! I just made italian beef the other day. We had enough to eat on a couple of days. It was good!

AchingAudrey2008-11-30 12:29:32Here's my favorite- You get a 3- 3 1/2 lb. rump roast. Put it in the crockpot. Put quartered potatoes and baby carrots around it. Mix a can of cream of mushroom soup with an envelope on onion soup mix and spread it on the beef. Cook on low for the longest time it gives you- what is it 8 hrs.?
It makes a great gravy .  We slice the beef and put it on top of a slice of bread and pour the gravy on top.
you're making me hungry and I just ate dinner two and a half hours ago! I have been on a strict diet of chicken or fish and lots of green veggies. I've lost 14lbs in the last 3 weekshubby and kids have been chowing on good beef! Steaks and roasts. We have a 1/4 cow in freezer. Farm fresh. yummy!!!
man, i'm so hungry!
CinDee! Good for you-you must be so proud of yourself!

Now I don't know what the calories are for a slice of roast beef but the soups are really nothing and you can use low fat cream of mushroom and it works just as well. It tastes so rich but I don't think it's terribly high in calories.

OMG I would sweat to death if it was 76 degrees at night when I'm in bed!!! Yikes!
Well, that's in the living room. In my bedroom it's probably 10 degrees colder. It's on the north side and is a large room with only one heat register. I have been cold all day. Especially my nose. I hope I'm getting daughter's cooties.Well, I'm going to bed.  I had to take a xanax tonight - once in a while the wacky heart arrhythmia acts up and it's quite annoying.  I had a wicked bad headache this afternoon, so I drank a big cup of coffee - extra-strong.  It worked on the headache... but my heart decided to start dancing up a storm.  I chewed up a xanax as soon as I got home from my school board adventures, and it's finally hitting.  No more crazy heartbeats, but now I've got the xanax hiccups (kinda like the drunk hiccups).  Oh, and everything seems kinda silly.  I'm going to bed before I go on an online shopping spree!!!
