I'm not leaving, but i'm also not coming back | Arthritis Information

I don't get hurt by snide comments, i don't mind the odd person pushing their own agenda, as riduculous as their thoughts may be. I am just stopping coming her because the board is useless.

When i first started with RA 5 years ago, boards like this were a lifeline for learning and companionship with others going through the same issues in life. experiences and opinions relating to the disease where shared, sympathy was given.

now it has turned into a bickering, political oriented, tiered group of posts.

i am a big boy, i can handle this disease on my own, but i will admit that having a board as this used to be was a help. i feel sorry for all the newbies. when i was one, i relied on the people her, i received help, and reasurance that i was not alone. As a board we no longer can say that we give that to new people. and to be honest if i was new and took a look at the 1st 2 pages of posts here i probably would never post or even return.

I hope you each find other boards that serve the needs you want from the BB comunities. Unfortunatly i feel that this one has ceased to serve the purpose that i beleive it was created for.Clufus,

I understand completely what you are saying. I was a member of the original Arthritis Insight group and the help I received and the links to information was extremely helpful. This group has disintegrated into nothing but folks who do not know the meaning of support. I will do as I normally do and disappear for a bit and hopefully when I return that things will be back to normal here.

Audrey you do not have a whit of understanding about what we are talking about so there is no need to jump in with political posturing.

THE POLITICAL POSTS ARE FEW AND FAR BETWEEN. THE MAJORITY ARE POSTS EITHER ASKING FOR OR GIVING ADVICE AND THE POLITICAL POSTS ARE VERY EASY TO SPOT. SOOO, IF THEY BOTHER YOU SO, YOU MUST BE GOING OUT OF YOUR WAY TO READ THEM!! SO QUIT YOUR BITCHIN ABOUT WHAT A GREAT SITE THIS USED TO BE AND HOW BAD IT IS NOW. JUST READ WHAT'S RELATIVE TO YOU AND LEAVE THE REST!!!! SIMPLE HUH????
