ive been on mtx. inj. for a month now and see now improvement, the nausea and mouth sores are still there but no improvement with the pain , i was wondering if i should stop it or give it more time  discouraged in paHi there:   You won't see any benefits generally until 3 months or so. A month is  not long enough.   The mouth sores can be helped by taking two folic acid a day.  The Dr upped mine from one to two a couple of weeks ago.  I am also on plaquinel which did not kick in for three months either.   I took pain killers as well as these two periodically to help the pain.   I didn't get too much nauseau so can't speak to that.  Hope you feel better soon. Gill

HI DEB,

GIVE IT MORE TIME. THE DOSAGE MIGHT BE TOO LOW OR IT'S JUST GOING TO TAKE A LITTLE LONGER FOR YOU. WE ALL REACT DIFFERANTLY TO THE MEDS.

TALK IT OVER WITH YOUR DOC. I'M SURE HE'LL BE ABLE TO MAKE ANY CHANGES IN DOSAGE OR ADD ANOTHER MED TO GET BETTER RESULTS FOR YOU.

GOOD LUCK AND HANG IN THERE!
