Awwww, love the red hair. My son and hubby are redheads. It runs throughout both sides of the family. I want to say how wonderful it is that you are there for those grandkids. I don't know the situation but it's a awesome thing to do . My grandma and aunt raised my sisters and I off and on. It got us out of foster care for a while though my 2 sisters and I ended up in a foster home for two years. My other 2 sisters were adopted by my aunt. I had a crazy, dysfunctional childhood but my grandma straightened me out and was my heart and soul. Thank God for grandmas! How precious.....Grandchildren are the reason we dont "eat our young".
Yours are beautiful.

Girl kidlet has some kind of stomach flu, so shes home.. and... OMG and ICK she has SCABIES..  took her to dr yesterday for the nasty itch and rash and found out she has scabies..

shudder

Boy kidlet is talking up a storm now. finally.. he will hold whole conversations with anyone he sees

Day before yesterday I cut her hair.. it was  almost waist long, but in dreadful condition,  torn up, split ends, matting all the time.. but I accidently cut off about 2 inches more than I should have and she was desolate.  Her hair was in such bad condition  we couldnt even donate to Locks of Love..  She was so sad about her hair, no matter how we tried to reassure her. She went to school and came home all smiles because  her teacher (who apparently walks on water) told her it was pretty.

Actually its adorable.. betweeen collar and shoulder, soft and swingy. much thicker and fuller.
